Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week - January 17th, 2008

Hi, I'm Officer Paula Morrow, Crime Stoppers' Coordinator for Sangamon and Menard Counties.

This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information on a burglary that occurred on Thursday, November 8th at approximately 1:00 am. The burglary occurred at Four Seasons Recreation Incorporated, located at 1901 Truman Road. The suspects made entry to the business through two separate windows and stole several items. Both suspects were either white or Hispanic males. The first suspect had a dark colored mustache and was wearing a dark colored Carhartt brand cap, black leather coat, blue jeans and light colored shoes. He also appeared to carry an aluminum baseball bat with him during the crime. The second suspect was wearing a light colored pull over sweater with a hood and dark colored pants and shoes. There was a second burglary attempt at the business the week of November 21st. It is unknown at this time if the same suspects are responsible for this crime.

If you have information on this crime or can identify the suspects, you can remain completely anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 217-788-8427 [1-800-397-2288], submitting a tip via the internet or use a cell phone to send a tip. You could get a cash reward of up to $1000.

Remember Crime Stoppers wants your information, not your name.
