Week - April 24th, 2008
 Hi,
I'm Officer Paula Morrow, Crime Stoppers' Coordinator
for Sangamon and Menard Counties.
This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information on
an armed robbery that occurred at Walgreen's located
at 2325 W. Monroe, on Friday, April 18, 2008 at approximately
1:40 am. The suspect came into the business and acted
as if he was going to purchase an item. He then briefly
left the store, returned and told the cashier to give
him the money out of the drawer. He indicated to the
clerk that he had a gun.
The suspect was described as a black male, 6'0",
between the ages of 35-40 years old. He was well dressed,
wearing slacks, a long sleeve button down shirt and
a black ball cap. The suspect fled the scene in a red
2-door vehicle.
