Stoppers Crime of the
Week - May 8th, 2008
 Hi,
I'm Officer Paula Morrow, Crime Stoppers' Coordinator
for Sangamon and Menard Counties.
This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information on
a burglary that happened on Sunday, April 27th at 9:45
pm at The Barrel Head, 1577 W. Wabash. Authorities are
investigating two suspects who gained entry to the meat
cooler at the Barrel Head and stole numerous cases of
a variety of meat.
One suspect was described as a black male, bald, wearing
a dark short sleeved shirt. The second suspect is also
described as a black male and he was wearing a ball
cap and windbreaker at the time of the burglary. The
suspects fled the business in a full sized van. The
van has a lighter color on top, a ladder on the passenger
side rear door and a spare tire holder. Authorities
believe the van has Illinois registration beginning
with the numbers "723".
