Week - May 29th, 2008
 Hi,
I'm Officer Paula Morrow, Crime Stoppers' Coordinator
for Sangamon and Menard Counties.
This
week Crime Stoppers is seeking additional information
on a burglary that occurred at Martin Equipment, 2384
J. David Jones Parkway. The crime occurred sometime
between 5:00 pm on Friday, May 9th and 6:30a.m., on
Saturday May 10th. The suspect gained entry to the business
by using some type of pry tool to force open a door.
The suspect continued to cause damage inside the business
by using the pry tool to gain access to other areas.
Stolen
from the business were computer monitors, computer hard
drive towers, cash and several pieces of Rugby and Leica
sewer and ground laser equipment. The total value of
items stolen in this burglary is over $20,000.
