Week - June 12th, 2008
 Hi,
I'm Officer Paula Morrow, Crime Stoppers' Coordinator
for Sangamon and Menard Counties.
This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information on
an armed robbery. On Sunday, June 1st at 4:00 am a taxi
cab picked up a subject from the CVS, located at 211
E. Carpenter, and transported him to the 1300 block
of East Jackson. Once they had arrived at the destination,
the suspect threatened the driver with a knife and demanded
money. The driver complied with the demand and the suspect
fled north from the scene of the crime.
The suspect is described as a 30 year old black male,
6'0", 170 pounds with short black hair and some
facial hair. He was wearing a black and white checkered
shirt at the time of the robbery.
