Week - July 3rd, 2008
 Hi,
I'm Officer Paula Morrow, Crime Stoppers' Coordinator
for Sangamon and Menard Counties.
This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information on
a Homicide that occurred at 14th and Stuart in Springfield
on Sunday, June 22nd between 9:30 and 11:15 p.m. Residents
in the area found the victim, Turjwuan "TJ"
Matlock lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to
his back. Witnesses report hearing five gunshots at
10:45 p.m. however no one called the police.
Turjwuan Matlock was last seen alive at 9:30p.m., walking
in the 100 block of north Walnut, after attending the
Juneteenth Celebration. Police did locate some evidence
but need your help in solving this crime.
