Week - September 4th, 2008
 Hi,
I'm Officer Paula Morrow, Crime Stoppers' Coordinator
for Sangamon and Menard Counties.
This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information an
armed robbery that occurred at the Dollar General, 1650
W. Wabash on Tuesday, August 19th at 9:00pm. The suspect
approached two employees who were standing outside of
the business. He was armed with a gun and ordered them
back into the store. He demanded money from the safe
and the cash register.
The suspect was described as a black male in his twenties.
He was 5'3" 175, and was wearing a blue short sleeve
shirt with a long sleeve white t-shirt underneath. He
also had a black rag on his head and face. He was last
seen on foot, south of the shopping center.
