Week - December 4th, 2008
Hi, I'm Officer Butch Slater, Crime Stoppers' Coordinator
for Sangamon and Menard Counties.
This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information about
a Home Invasion, Robbery, Criminal damage to property,
and Residential burglary that occurred on November 22nd
at approximately 2:00am. in the 600 block of E. Enos.
The victim, who is disabled reports that a black male
unlawfully entered his residence by cutting the screen
on a west side window. Once inside the unknown suspect
threatened to do harm to the victim if he did not tell
him where the money was. The suspect then left with
CD's, electronics, prescription medication and other
personal items. The victim estimates his losses at $550.00.
