I'm Officer Butch Slater, Crime Stoppers' Coordinator
for Sangamon and Menard Counties.
This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information about
A Residential Burglary and Theft that occurred on Friday
February 27th in the 2900 block of Corbin that is located
in the Village of Jerome. The victim states that when
he returned home around 9:00pm that evening, he noticed
that items in his residence had been moved around. The
homeowner then continued to check his residence and
noticed that items were also missing. He then noticed
that the door on the Corbin Street side had been kicked
in and believes that this is where entry was made to
the residence. The victim reports that a revolver handgun
was taken as well as a rifle, several gold rings with
diamonds, cash, Xbox with assorted games, Playstation
2 with assorted games and an I-Pod.
