I'm Officer Butch Slater, Crime Stoppers' Coordinator
for Sangamon and Menard Counties.
This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information on
Motor Vehicle Thefts of (6) six All Terrain Vehicles
that occurred between Thursday April 16th and Friday
April 17th to Danes Discount 3150 Stanton. The owner
of Danes Discount reports that unknown person (s) gained
entry to the outside fence by cutting the fence on the
southeast side. Once the suspects were inside the fenced
in area, they removed (6) six All Terrain Vehicles and
left in an unknown direction. Although the some of the
ATV's have been recovered, there is no known suspect
or suspects at this time. An anonymous witness did come
forward to report that he did see two subjects pushing
ATV's from the area.
