I'm Officer Butch Slater, Crime Stoppers' Coordinator
for Sangamon and Menard Counties.
This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information about
(6) six Residential Burglaries that occurred between
Friday April 17th and Wednesday April 22nd in the Franklin
Park subdivision. Several victims report that a black
female 5ft 5inches tall with a stocky build and a tall
thin black male were seen in the area going to several
houses ringing the door bells or knocking on the doors.
Victims also report that when they would answer the
door the unknown suspects would ask for someone by name.
Once the suspects were told that the person they asked
for did not live there the suspects would then leave
in a black 2 door car. Once the residents return home
they would find that their residence had been burglarized.
