Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week - May 7th, 2009

Hi, I'm Officer Butch Slater, Crime Stoppers' Coordinator for Sangamon and Menard Counties.

This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information about a Burglary that occurred on Wednesday April 22nd to the Springfield Baseball Academy at 4355 Camp Butler Road. The owner of the business reports that an employee called him stating that someone had broke into the business and several items were missing. An employee stated that when he arrived to work on Wednesday there were no signs of forced entry.

The owner reports a 37inch Vizio Plasma Tv missing, a 32inch Sony Plasma TV, $250, a framed white SIU baseball jersey, a orange Bruce Webber autographed shirt, a Detroit Tigers jersey, a black baseball bat and 5 baseball cards, a Juggs Radar Gun, and a Dell Laptop.
