I'm Officer Butch Slater, Crime Stoppers' Coordinator
for Sangamon and Menard Counties.
This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information about
an Armed Robbery that occurred on Monday April 27th
to The Pizzaria located at 2023 S. 15th. An employee
states that 20minutes prior to the Armed Robbery, he
noticed a black male ride his bike past the restaurant
multiple times. The same employee then states he saw
the black male walk past the front door going north.
A black male 5'5 150lbs wearing a black hooded coat
and black pants, and wearing a red bandana over his
face came into the restaurant and pointed a black revolver
at the employee and demanded money from the register.
The suspect was then given $270 and fled the scene on
foot going south on 15th street and then east.
