I'm Officer Butch Slater, Crime Stoppers' Coordinator
for Sangamon and Menard Counties.
This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information about
a Residential Burglary, Criminal Damage to Property,
and Theft over that occurred on Sunday July 19th to
the Springfield Fire Dept located at 1428 Glenwood Ave.
The crew of this fire house noticed that someone had
broke into the fire station and removed a 50" Samsung
Flat screen television along with the remote valued
together at $1800. During this burglary the suspects
also damaged a window and miniblinds valued together
at $100. No witnesses reported seeing or hearing anything
as there was no information given about a possible suspect.
