I'm Officer Butch Slater, Crime Stoppers' Coordinator
for Sangamon and Menard Counties.
This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information about
a Commercial Burglary, Theft (over $300), and Criminal
Damage to Property that occurred between Monday May
25th and Tuesday May 26th at the Springfield Clinic
located at 301 N. 8th. St Johns security reports that
when they returned to work they noticed that someone
had unlawfully entered office areas on the 3rd and 6th
floors and someone had also gained access to filing
cabinets by forcing them open. Once the suspect gained
access to the office areas the victims report a HP Laptop
missing along with a Dell Laptop, Cannon digital camera,
and time card valued together at $2,843. Also reported
missing was US currency totaling $65. There was also
$170 in damage done to filing cabinets and a door.
