the intersection of Sangamon Ave and Peoria RD. The
victim states that he was on his bicycle in the crosswalk
going from the North side of Sangamon to the South side.
The victim also states he had the signal to cross. As
he started crossing, a white female in her 30's with
brown hair driving an older model dark van looked at
him and continued to turn striking him and knocking
him from his bicycle. The female then asked if he was
ok and continued to drive North on Peoria Rd without
rendering aid or notifying law enforcement. The victim
was taken to Memorial Medical center where he was treated
for a broken growth plate in his knee.
