I'm Officer Butch Slater, Crime Stoppers' Coordinator
for Sangamon and Menard Counties.
This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information about
a Residential Burglary that occurred on Friday October
9th in the 400 block of W. Edwards. The victim states
that earlier that evening two black males came to his
apartment and asked for an unknown person. When the
victim told them that the person they were looking for
did not live there, one of the black males asked to
use his cell phone. After using the cell phone the two
black males got into a light blue minivan being driven
by a white female with blond hair. After the victim
left his apartment, his neighbor heard voices coming
from his apartment and when she went outside she noticed
the west front door open and saw two black males and
a white female run from the apartment and west down
the alley.
