I'm Officer Butch Slater, Crime Stoppers' Coordinator
for Sangamon and Menard Counties.
This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information about
a Aggravated Robbery that occurred on Sunday January
10th 2010 at Family Video located at 930 W. Jefferson.
An employee states that a Hispanic or light complexion
black male wearing a dark colored jacket, red shirt,
jeans, and a black mask with the eye holes cut, between
5ft6in and 5ft8in 150lbs and a tattoo on the right side
of his neck approached the counter with his hand in
his pocket implying that he had a weapon. The suspect
then asked the employee where the money was and the
employee then pointed to the cash register and the suspect
removed an undetermined amount of cash before running
east then west from the business.
