Hi,
I'm Officer Butch Slater, Crime Stoppers' Coordinator
for Sangamon and Menard Counties.
This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information about
numerous prescription frauds that occurred between Friday
November 6th 2009 and Wednesday December 30th 2009.
Reports indicate that at least four prescription frauds
were committed when unknown persons alleged that they
were a nurse calling from Dr Wenthes office located
at 2901 Old Jacksonville RD. These prescriptions were
then filled at Schnucks Pharmacy 2801 Chatham Rd. and
at County Market 2777 S 6th. The prescription that was
being filled was a commonly used medication that is
now being used in the production of Meth. Two unknown
white females were seen picking up the prescriptions.
If you have information about these incidents, you
can remain completely anonymous by contacting Crime
Stoppers at 217-788-8427 [1-800-397-2288], submitting
a tip via the internet or using
a cell phone to send a tip [type TIP672 plus your
message and send it CRIMES(274637)]. You could get a
cash reward of up to $1000.
Remember Crime Stoppers wants your information,
not your name.
