I'm Officer Butch Slater, Crime Stoppers' Coordinator
for Sangamon and Menard Counties.
This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information about
a Criminal Trespass to Property and Criminal Damage
to Property over that occurred on Tuesday January 19th
in the 7300 block of Old Salem Ln. A witness stated
she saw a white male in an older model GMC truck grayish
in color with the partial License number of 89. The
witness stated that the property is vacant and no one
should be there. When the white male was confronted
about being on the property he stated he was investigating
noises. When the witness told him she was calling police,
he got into his truck and drove away. The owner of the
property was notified and reported sever damage. Windows
were broken along with two doors and sever water damage.
