I'm Officer Butch Slater, Crime Stoppers' Coordinator
for Sangamon and Menard Counties.
This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information about
a Burglary and Criminal Damage to Property that occurred
on Tuesday March 9th at One Stop Auto located at 3005
Reilly Drive. It was reported that unknown persons used
an unknown object to break out a window, valued at $350
to gain access to the business. Once inside the business,
a cash register valued at $25 was broken in order to
remove the $40 cash that was inside. There were also
several filing cabinets in the office areas that were
gone through but there were no items to report missing.
There was information given about a possible suspect
but investigators are still seeking information.
