Burglary to Motor Vehicle, Theft

This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department in reference to a follow up to a Burglary to Vehicle.  On January 13^th, 2024, officers were investigating a vehicle break in, in the 3100 block of Twin Lakes Drive.   Taken from inside the vehicle were debit and credit cards.  Since the break-in, the cards have been used at different businesses by what appears to be a white female that was wearing a gray Nike hat each time.  She was seen leaving one business in what looks like an older model silver truck.   Images of her and the vehicle can be found on this website, cashfortips.us. This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department in reference to a Criminal Damage and Battery Case.  On January 30^th, 2024, around 2:40 pm a female entered Dollar General at 930 W Jefferson and was denied a purchase because she didn’t have an ID.   The female suspect started a verbal disturbance with employees and refused to leave.  After several minutes of arguing the female picked up an employee’s phone and left with it.  One employee tried to stop her but she pushed past her causing an injury to the employee.  Once outside the suspect threw the employees phone down, breaking it, causing $1,100.00 worth of damage.  Images of the individual can be found on this website, cashfortips.us. This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department reference an attempted motor vehicle theft and criminal damage that occurred in the 900 block of S 4th St during the night time hours between March 29^th and 30th. A vehicle window had been broken and the steering column had been removed causing over $1,000 in damage. Video footage shows two different suspects. This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department in reference to a Theft.  On March 16^th 2024, around 6 pm officers were called to Brandy’s located at 732 North Grand Ave East in reference to a patron who had left her purse behind and when she returned, it was gone.   Video from the business shows a white female with dark colored hair take the purse.  The purse contained cash along with debit and credit cards.  One of the cards was tried at another business in town the following day.  The female suspect was there with a white male who may also be involved.   Images of the two can be found on this website, cashfortips.us. Brown Street sometime in late January. This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department reference an attempted vehicle theft and criminal damage that occurred on January 27^th around 8pm at Auto Connect located at 1900 S 6^th St. Two suspects broke into multiple vehicles and broke the steering columns in what appeared to be an attempt to steal the vehicles causing $4,000 in damage. This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department reference a burglary to motor vehicle that occurred at Memorial Medical Center on January 19^th during the early morning. The suspect, who appeared to be a male wearing dark clothing, broke a window on the victim’s vehicle causing nearly $500 in damage.
