This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information about a Robbery and Shots Fired that occurred on August, 5th around 11:03pm at 101 S. Lewis in Springfield.  A cab driver was dispatched to pick up a fair and upon arrival a black male with short dreadlocks, wearing black shorts approached the cab.  The black male opened the door, put a gun to the drivers head and robbed him of his tip money.  The suspect fled west on foot and fired several shots at the cab as he ran away.   If you have any information about this Robbery or any crime, you can stay completely anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 788-8427.  You can also submit a tip on this website, Cashfortips.US.  If an arrest is made based on your tip, you will receive a cash reward up to 2500 dollars. This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information about a Bank Robbery that occurred on August, 8thth around 4:42pm at UCB Bank located at 2120 Peoria Rd.  In this case a black male entered the bank and approached employee’s, demanding money.  The suspect was wearing sunglasses, a black facemask and a dark blue hoody with a yellow reflective traffic vest over it. Someone fired multiple gunshots from a vehicle early Saturday, killing two men and rattling the quiet neighborhood of Laketown.  Police are asking people with information to call crime stoppers to help apprehend the individual(s) who committed this act.
