Hi I’m Officer Chris Jones, Crime Stoppers Coordinator for Sangamon and Menard counties.

This week, Crime Stoppers is seeking information to help the Springfield Police Department to identify an individual in reference to a theft.

On August 9th, 2026, around 6:30 pm a black male wearing blue jeans, a black durag and no shirt entered Clique Bar, 411 E Washington in Springfield.  Once inside the black male went behind the bar and took a donation box containing approximately $600.00.  The suspect then fled the scene heading North on 6th Street.

Images of the individual can be found on this website at cashfortips.us.  Anyone with information regarding this incident, or can identify the suspect, call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 217-788-8427, submit a tip on this website or use the P3 app.

If your tip results in an arrest, you could receive a cash reward of up to $2,500.
