This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department reference a retail theft and aggravated battery that occurred on December 22th, 2022 around 6:15 p.m. at Ross Dress For Less located at 3137 S Veterans Pkwy in Springfield, IL. Three females entered the store, and proceeded to steal approximately $500 worth of merchandise. As the females were leaving the store, an employee tried to intervene and was then pepper sprayed by one of the females. The suspects then left in a light color 4 door sedan.
