This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department reference an attempted armed robbery that occurred on December 10th around 7:00 p.m. at Dollar General located at 1057 E Ash. The suspect, who appeared to be a male, entered the store and approached an employee behind the register brandishing a firearm. The suspect then grabbed the employee by their arm and threatened them. The suspect left the scene after being told to leave by another customer and never obtained any items. Photos of the suspect can be found on this website, cashfortips.us.
