This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information about a deceptive practices incident that took place on November 25th around 9pm at 3108 Turning Mill Dr.  A male subject impersonating a Springfield Police Officer made contact with the victim and told them they had a warrant and needed to cooperate by sending a large sum of money to a location in a different state.  The suspect was a white male, 5’10” wearing a dark stocking cap, dark quilted jacket, khaki pants and driving an older, blue or black police style vehicle.  If you have any information about this incident, call Crime Stoppers at 788-8427.
