Crime Stoppers is looking for two subjects who have been involved in a series of incidents in which fraudulent checks were created and then cashed at several locations in Springfield and around Central Illinois. The total loss in these cases will be well over $10,000 when it’s all said and done, and Crime Stoppers wants your help to break up this crime ring. Take a look at the surveillance photos on this website (Cashfortips.us) and you can clearly see the primary suspects in this case. They’re both black females in their mid 30’s or 40’s who stand approximately 5’5” tall with medium to heavy builds. Both have long black hair however one of them wears glasses and has two distinctive gold teeth with a gap between them. We've also attached an image of the vehicle the suspects used in the commission of one of the check fraud incidents; its a silver Infinity.

Crime Stoppers will pay a cash reward of up to two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500) if you have information that results in the arrest of this phony check duo and helps close this criminal enterprise.
