This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Sangamon County Sheriff’s Office in reference to a shooting.  On August 8^th around 1:30 am deputies were called to the 1400 block of Chalmers St in Springfield, in reference to a report of shots fired.   Upon their arrival deputies discovered a male victim with two gunshot wounds.  Video shows a vehicle, a four door sedan, fleeing from Chalmers after the shooting traveling north on 14h St.  Images of the vehicle can be found on our website, cashfortips.us.
