This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Sangamon County Sheriff’s Office reference a homicide that occurred in the 3000 block of Hoover in Springfield. Around 2:30 p.m. on October 9th, 2025, Deputies responded to the area for a report of shots fired. Upon their arrival, deputies discovered 3 victims that were deceased, one of which was a 9-year-old child. Crime Stoppers needs your help to hold those accountable for this senseless act of violence.
