This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department reference a motor vehicle theft that occurred on May 11^th, 2023 around 9:30 a.m. at Seven Brothers Grocery located at 1801 S 11^th St. in Springfield, IL. The victim parked their car and entered the store. The suspect, who appeared to be a male wearing blue shoes, gray pants, a white shirt and a black hooded sweatshirt, proceeds to walk to the victim’s vehicle, get in and drive away westbound on Laurel. The vehicle was later recovered but the suspect has not been identified.
