This week Crime Stoppers is seeking your help to assist the Springfield Police Department identifying two African American Females who committed a theft on May 16th, 2022 at Ulta located at 2733 S Veterans Pkwy. The two females entered the store and selected approximately 35 fragrances, put them in their shopping bags, and left the store without paying for them. The two females then left the area in a black Nissan Altima with a License Plate of “DJ734214”. Unlawful Credit Card Use

This week Crime Stoppers is seeking to assist the Springfield Police Department to identify two individuals reference stolen credit cards. On May 4th the victim reported that his wallet which contained various debit cards and cash had been lost while fishing near Bridgeview Beach House at Lake Springfield.  Four days later on May 8th a white male and female used his stolen LINK card at Save A Lot, 2520 E Clear Lake, to make purchases.  Another unauthorized use of a debit card was attempted in Decatur as well.  Images of the individuals can be found on this website, cashfortips.us. This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department reference a burglary and theft that occurred on June 5th around 1am at Lanphier High School located at 1300 N 11th.   School security cameras captured a white male with short dark hair wearing a red jacket approaching the school around 1am and leaving approximately 45 minutes later.  Once inside the suspect rummaged through multiple rooms going through desks and cabinets before taking a 65in flat screen TV.   Photos of the suspect can be found on this website, cashfortips.us. Burglary and Criminal Damage

This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department reference a burglary and theft that occurred at the Roofers Union located at 301 E Spruce on June 3rd around 1:30 am.   Video captured two white males stealing parts to an air conditioning unit on the roof.  Damage to the unit is estimated to be in excess of $10,000.00.   One of the males had a dark colored goatee and possibly a tattoo on the back of his neck.  He was seen leaving the area on a dark colored bicycle pulling a trailer with bright pink wheels.  The second subject is bald and has light colored facial hair.  He was seen on a red and white bicycle.  Photos of the suspects can be found on this website, cashfortips.us. This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department in identifying a suspect reference criminal damage.  On May 24th, 2024, officers were dispatched to Heartland Bank located at 1925 S Macarthur in reference to a damaged ATM machine.  Video shows on 05-23-24 just before 9:30 pm a white male wearing a black short sleeved shirt and black pants at the ATM.   The suspect takes a handful of rocks and throws it at the ATM.  He then removes a handgun from his waist, points it at the ATM as if he was going to shoot it but then uses the barrel and butt of the gun to hit the screen of the ATM several times causing thousands of dollars in damage.  Images of the suspect can be found on this website, cashfortips.us. This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department reference a burglary that occurred at Car Wash City, 3316 Robbins Road, around 1:45 am on May 10th.  Video footage captured a white male with a dark colored beard and hair forcing the door open to the booth at the automatic car wash causing over $1,000.00 in damage.  Once inside the white male rummaged through the booth taking a controller to the air conditioning unit.  Photos of the suspect can be found on this website, cashfortips.us. This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department in identifying a suspect in reference to a burglary.  On April 17th, 2024, around 5:30 am officers responded to a burglar alarm at Anything Sales, 612 E North Grand.  It was discovered the building had been ransacked and several items including jewelry, watches and coins had been taken all totaling over $55,000.00.   There was also damage to the building that totaled over $20,000.00.  Video had captured the suspect outside which police need your help to identify.  Images of the suspect can be found on this website, cashfortips.us. This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department in identifying a suspect reference to a theft.  On May 7th, 2024, around 8:30 pm the victim arrived at Lucky Lady Laundry, 1056 E Stanford, and parked near the front door of the business.  The victim began making several trips taking laundry into the business.   While inside, the suspect approaches the victim’s vehicle, opens a door and takes a Michael Kors purse from inside the vehicle.  Inside the purse was a Michael Kors wallet, bank cards and an I-Phone all totaling more than $1300.00.   The suspect was described as a black male wearing a hooded black sweat shirt and black jogger style sweat pants.  Images of the suspect can be found on this website, cashfortips.us. This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Sangamon County Sheriff’s Office in reference to a shooting that occurred at The Cove, 1616 N Dirksen Parkway.  On Monday May 6th around 1:20 am a black four door vehicle pulled into the east lot of the bar.  Two white males exited the vehicle and were denied entry to the bar.  The white males got back into the vehicle and left.  Once on Keys Ave. at least one occupant exits the vehicle and fires multiple rounds in the direction of the bar striking a bouncer, a parked vehicle and the building.  Images of the suspects and the vehicle can be found on this website, cashfortips.us. This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department in reference to a retail theft.  On March 30th, 2024, officers were dispatched to Discount Tobacco, 1169 N 2nd St, in reference to a retail theft. The suspect, who was a black male wearing black sweatpants and an olive colored hooded shirt entered the store and asked an employee to see an item for sale.  When the employee turned around, he jumped over the counter grabbing cartons of cigarettes and fled the area.
