This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information about a shooting incident that took place on Wednesday, September 1st at 10:42pm at 1415 E. This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Southern View Police Department with a Deceptive Practices case from Saturday, June 12th at 8:07pm at Walgreens, 2945 S. 6th St.  In this incident, five suspects entered the store and conducted a gift card reload scam with a total theft close to $6,000.00.  The suspects were a heavy set black female in a white shirt with pony tail, black female in orange shirt and shorts with red hair, black male in dark t-shirt, bald with sunglasses, black male with a black dew rag and white t-shirt and a black male in a white t-shirt and long black shorts.  Photos of the suspects can be seen on this website, Cashfortips.US.  If you can identify any of the suspects, call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 217-788-8427, submit a tip on this website or use the P3 app.  We pay cash if an arrest is made and remember, Crime Stoppers only wants your information, not your name.

Tickets are $20 per person and includes a complimentary brew, food and a souvenir koozie.
