This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department in reference to a Theft.  On March 16th 2024, around 6 pm officers were called to Brandy’s located at 732 North Grand Ave East in reference to a patron who had left her purse behind and when she returned, it was gone.   Video from the business shows a white female with dark colored hair take the purse.  The purse contained cash along with debit and credit cards.  One of the cards was tried at another business in town the following day.  The female suspect was there with a white male who may also be involved.   Images of the two can be found on this website, cashfortips.us. If you have any information regarding this incident or can identify the individuals, call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 217-788-8427, submit a tip on this website, or use the P3 app. If your tip results in an arrest you could receive a cash reward up to $2500.  Remember Crime Stoppers only wants your information, not your name.
