Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week September 24, 2015   Officer Mike Badger, Crime Stoppers Coordinator for Sangamon and Menard Counties. This week Crime Stoppers is looking for identification information to help police solve an armed robbery at the Game Stop on North Dirksen Parkway on September 15th.  At approximately 1030 at night  the suspect  threatened the clerk of the business with a knife and demanded cash. The perpetrator then stated he also wanted a Sony Playstation 4 first and then left the store once the Destiny, limited edition playstation was handed to him. The male black suspect was described as being approximately 6’ and 220 lbs wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a grey and black ballcap. He can be seen in surveillance photos on the Crime Stopper website Cashfortips.us.   If you can identify the suspect call Crime Stoppers at 788-8427. Remember, your identity will be anonymous and Crime Stoppers will pay you a cash reward if your information leads to the arrest.
