This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department reference an attempted vehicle theft and criminal damage that occurred on January 27^th around 8pm at Auto Connect located at 1900 S 6^th St. Two suspects broke into multiple vehicles and broke the steering columns in what appeared to be an attempt to steal the vehicles causing $4,000 in damage. Two vehicle windows were also broken in the process causing an additional $1000 in damage. Video of the suspects can be found on this website, cashfortips.us.
