This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Sangamon County Sheriff’s Office reference an attempted theft and felony criminal damage that occurred on March 27th, 2023 just before 6:00 a.m. at Cabinetland located at 4340 Peoria Rd in Springfield, IL. A male suspect cut a catalytic convertor off of one of the box trucks causing $4,000 in damage. After the male removed the convertor, an employee arrived on scene at which point the suspect left the convertor and drove away in a dark color sedan. A photo of the suspect vehicle is posted on this website, cashfortips.us.
