This week Crime Stoppers is seeking to assist the Springfield Police Department to identify two individuals in reference to a felony retail theft that occurred at Family Dollar, 1935 W Monroe, in Springfield.  On July 25th, 2025, around 8:30 pm two black males, approximately 20 years old, entered the store and purchased two gift cards.  After the transaction was completed with both suspects using the same card to pay, it was discovered the card they used was fraudulent.   One of the black males had long dreads wearing a white T-Shirt and the other was wearing a black shirt and orange shorts.  Both males fled the store heading south.  Images of the individual can be found on this website, cashfortips.us. This week, Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Illinois State Police in the ongoing investigation into the homicide of Teresa Coleman. This week Crime Stoppers is seeking to assist the Springfield Police Department to identify an individual in reference to a forgery and theft that occurred at First Bankers Trust, 2201 Wabash, in Springfield.  On June 26th, 2025, an unknown white female entered the bank pretending to be a customer by using a fake passport with her picture but the victim’s information on it.  The suspect withdrew over $7,000.00 from the account.  Crimestoppers needs your help getting this suspect identified.  Images of the individual can be found on this website, cashfortips.us.
