This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information about a shooting incident that took place on Monday, March 8th at 2:30pm at the intersection of 11th and Stanford in Springfield.  Witnesses report seeing a dark blue Saturn with silver hood and front fender fire several shots at a red vehicle at the intersection before fleeing west bound on Stanford at a high rate of speed.  The victim vehicle was struck several times by gunfire but there were no injuries.  Photos of the suspect vehicle can be viewed on this website, Cashfortips.US.  If you have information about this shooting incident or any other crime call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 788-8427, submit a tip on our website or use the P3 app on any mobile device.  If an arrest is made based on your tip you could receive a cash reward up to $2500.  Remember Crime Stoppers only wants your information, not your name.

In an ongoing effort to help stop the gun violence in our communities, Crime Stoppers pledges a minimum reward of $500 for anonymous information that leads to the arrest of a subject illegally possessing a handgun and a minimum of $1000 for the arrest of a subject illegally possessing a rifle or weapon that fires rifle ammunition.
