This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department reference a hit and run involving a pedestrian. On Saturday, April 25th, 2026 at approximately 9:25 p.m., a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle near the intersection of Wabash and Corbin near Scooter’s Coffee. After striking the pedestrian, the vehicle did not stop and fled the scene of the crash. The pedestrian, who suffered multiple injuries, was transported to a local hospital where they are currently being treated.
