This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Sangamon County Sherriff’s Office in reference to a burglary and theft that occurred in the 4300 block of Mount Pulaski Road in rural Illiopolis.  Between 5pm on March 1^st and 7 am on March 2^nd unknown person(s) entered a job site and took a 48-inch orange Rigid toolbox along with a 30 black Rigid Toolbox.  Those boxes contained various Milwaukee and Dewalt power tools valued at $1,000.  If photos become available, they will be posted on this website cashfortips.us. This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department to identify an individual in reference to a theft and unlawful use of credit card.  On January 22nd, 2026, officers received a report of a lost credit card and the credit card was used at various businesses around Springfield. SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) -Springfield police are still hoping for a break in the unsolved murder of a 23-year-old man.
