This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information about a shooting that took place on Monday, June 1st at 2:53am at Fresh Express, located at 1529 E. Cook St. During this incident, a male victim was standing on the east side of the business when an unknown suspect fired several shots, striking him multiple times in the legs. The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries. This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information about an Armed Robbery at Kentucky Fried Chicken, 3150 S. 6th St. on Sunday, August 2nd at 10:14pm.  In this incident a black male suspect threatened employee’s with a black handgun and demanded money be placed in a black, Nike backpack the suspect brought with him.  After the Robbery the suspect fled in an unknown direction.  He was described as 6’1”/225lbs. wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, black face mask, black Nike backpack, black pants and black shoes. Lock car doors even if you park inside a garage and remove any valuables and don't forget to take your key fob with you!   If leaving town, call your local police department to have vacation checks done.
