This week Crime Stoppers is seeking to assist the Springfield Police Department to identify an individual reference a theft that occurred at Immaculate Conception Church, 524 E Lawrence.   On March 18th, 2025, between 3 and 4 am an unknown suspect stole 4 copper caps that ranged from 3 to 8 feet long.  These caps that were approximately 50 years old and were valued at $10,000.00 total.   The suspect, appeared to be a white male wearing a black and white camo vest and black hoody.  The suspect was last seen leaving south on 5^th St. with the property.  Images of the individual can be found on this website, cashfortips.us.   This week Crime Stoppers is seeking tips about an armed robbery of a person at 2652 S 10th on Feb 7th around 1a.m. In this case a B/M about 6’2, 150-170 lbs, in his 20s, wearing a black hooded jacket, approached the victim in her driveway, punched the victim in the face and then took money from her pockets, while holding a silver knife. The suspect fled north from the area.
