This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department in identifying a suspect reference to a theft.  On May 7th, 2024, around 8:30 pm the victim arrived at Lucky Lady Laundry, 1056 E Stanford, and parked near the front door of the business.  The victim began making several trips taking laundry into the business.   While inside, the suspect approaches the victim’s vehicle, opens a door and takes a Michael Kors purse from inside the vehicle.  Inside the purse was a Michael Kors wallet, bank cards and an I-Phone all totaling more than $1300.00.   The suspect was described as a black male wearing a hooded black sweat shirt and black jogger style sweat pants.  Images of the suspect can be found on this website, cashfortips.us. Shooting Incident

Rt. 66 Mural Vandalism

Armed Robbery to Business

This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information about an Armed Robbery to the Circle K gas station, 2700 Stevenson Drive on Sunday, January 3rd at 5:05am.  In this incident a black male suspect enters the store armed with a black handgun and demands money from the clerk.  The suspect was described as light to medium skin tone, 5’10”/150lbs. wearing a dark green winter coat with fur lined hood, black mask, light gray hooded sweatshirt with multi-colored block lettering on the front, light washed blue jeans and tan work boots with dark colored cuffs on top.  He also had a tattoo on the back of his left hand.  The suspect fled south on foot after the robbery.  Photos of the suspect can be viewed on our website, Cashfortips.US.  If you have any information about this Armed Robbery call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 788-8427 or submit a tip on this website.  Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards up to $2500 for information resulting in an arrest and remember, we only want your information, not your name!

This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information about an Unlawful Use of a Weapon incident at The Boulevard Town Homes, 2715 S. Macarthur #69 on Wednesday, December 2nd at 8:40pm.  Security video from the scene shows two black males at the door of the apartment.  One of the males is wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and the outline of a handgun can be seen in his right front pocket.  The second male is wearing a black puffy coat.  They indicated they were there looking for someone.  Law Enforcement is attempting to identify both subjects and needs your help!  A photo of the subjects can be viewed on this website, Cashfortips.US. This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information about ongoing thefts of catalytic converters in the Springfield Area.  The thefts span the months of October and November with several incidents taking place over the long Thanksgiving holiday weekend.  Locations of thefts have been auto dealerships, storage units and church lots. Criminal Damage to Property/Shots Fired

This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information about a shots fired incident that took place on Monday, November 30th at 12:43pm in the 2100 block of east Monroe St.  An unknown suspect(s) fired multiple shots which struck 4 residences causing damage to siding, windows and doors.  No persons were struck by gunfire or injured during this incident.  A silver car was seen leaving the area but it is unknown if the vehicle was involved.
