On July 30th, 2026, around 5:30 pm, a white male was seen in the 700 block of West Miller in Springfield loitering around the area.  Video shows the white male walk over to a utility pole and began tampering with wires at the base.  The suspect then cuts an internet service line and before fleeing the area.

This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Springfield Police Department in reference to a Theft.  On March 16^th 2024, around 6 pm officers were called to Brandy’s located at 732 North Grand Ave East in reference to a patron who had left her purse behind and when she returned, it was gone.   Video from the business shows a white female with dark colored hair take the purse.  The purse contained cash along with debit and credit cards.  One of the cards was tried at another business in town the following day.  The female suspect was there with a white male who may also be involved.   Images of the two can be found on this website, cashfortips.us. Brown Street sometime in late January. The suspect, who appeared to be a male wearing dark clothing, broke a window on the victim’s vehicle causing nearly $500 in damage. The suspect, who appeared to be a male, entered the store and approached an employee behind the register brandishing a firearm. The suspect then grabbed the employee by their arm and threatened them.
